• http://ciips.ee.uwa.edu.au/~morris/Year2/PLDS210/qsort.html has a nice description of quicksort and an amazingly helpful java animation of how a quicksort algorithm works. Highly recommended.
• http://www.itacs.uow.edu.au/people/nabg/ABC/quicks.html is a very clear account of quicksort and other sorting algorithms. This is chapter 13 from A Beginners C++, a book being written by Neil Gray. It looks like the entire draft of the book is online.
