A complete Solutions Manual is available upon request. You could contact Oxford University Press, but it will be faster if you just send me an email.
I started working on a detailed Instructor's Manual a long time ago, but never finished it. If you are interested in seeing the draft or chatting about using the book in a course, drop me an email.
List of courses using the book:
- Chaos and Fractals. College of the Atlantic.
- Great Mathematical Ideas. Cornell College.
- MATH 104 Fractals and Infinity, Montclair State University.
- Advanced math elective at San Francisco University High School
- Symmetry, Chaos and Fractals at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia.
I have developed two MOOCs that cover many of the topics that are included in my textbook.
Both courses are offered on the Santa Fe Institute's Complexity Explorer platform. All course materials are free, and archived versions of the classes are available when the courses are not in session. Students and instructors will find lots of material, including videos and some online quizzes, that complement the material in the text.
These two classes are currently the two highest-rated math MOOC according to class-central.com, a MOOC aggregation and rating site.
