- Class 2 (Monday, September 11): Read Chapter 1 of SEWTHA (MacKay) and the Preface of SEFAS (Feldman). Bring questions and comments on the MacKay reading. Focus on pp. 11-16 of MacKay. In class we will discuss the reading and then delve into into energy/power and ways of making sense of large numbers. [class worksheet]
